Why does 1800flowers.com think sending a $5.99 credit makes up for total incompotence?
I ordered a get well bouquet and a get well soon balloon for a relative who is in the hospital and just had a heart attack. 1800flowers.com sent a happy birthday balloon instead. When I informed them of their error, they decided to “make it up to me” with a $5.99 credit. Uh, yeah – that really makes up for it. Any thoughts on how I can get the word out this site stinks? 
The relative lives across the country so I can’t visit them right now or bring them flowers myself.
Yes, I made the mistake of calling them about 5 years ago.
Since they did not deliver on-time I ended up calling to see what happened. After arguing for awhile, they eventually gave me the number of the local florist that was suppose to deliver my flowers. Their just a middle man service that takes about 10-15% of the total bill and I find it easier to deal with local florist directly.
