“On Parallel Path”
Alone today,
I took a morning walk
beneath skies of vivid blue
and billowy sailing clouds,
I looked
over my shoulder
to see,an endless path
I’d thread
of twisting curves
and sweeping rolling hills.
aside the path
forrest fields grew,
trees stretched for nourishment
of sunlight,
and in the thicket dew, I saw
tall waving grass and thistle weeds,
among them flourished an array
of colorful glorious
fragrant wild flowers
petite, sweet forget-me-nots.
I reached down,
and carefully picked a few
to complete my bouquet.
and then
the vista loomed ahead of me
became a vision-mix
as far as eye could see
the path remained unchanged.
Some body has a sore thumbs down,
not even one from me.
You’ve missed not a thing, this was lovely, I took the walk with you and saw it all. Thanks.
